Possums are a big pest in New Zealand, because they destroy our trees. They also eat baby birds and bird eggs. They will berries. They are a huge problem, because there are too many of them to get rid of.

on the 24th of may we did this learning about NZ native animals. and I did my work about the bat . Did you know there are bats in the bush. I got my information from websites and books. The visit zealandia website was the best.

On Friday  it was anti bulling day.We had four wings to paint to make our angel wings mural for our heading what good are wings  without the courace to fiy anti bulling means we shouidnt bully each other,it is hurtful and not okay .we should be kind if you can't be kind. be Quiet

 

Cross country

                                         The cross country run.               

We went to the Cutler farm on the bus, to have our cross country run.  I was excited .  Mum drove in the car. 

All the year 4 girls lined up. Mrs cutler said''

 ready set GO!! 

Off we went, I almost fell off the bridge when I was running along the track. It was a long run up and down hills. We had to run through mud and cow poop, it smelt gross. I had the stitch.

I came 6th. I was happy.

I was so tired after my race, so I went home with mum and my brother.
